Assessment and Analysis
It's important to choose the right thing to fix. Sometimes what appears to be the problem is only a symptom, and not the underlying problem. We probe and question in a way that you can't do yourself, to get at the root of the problem, and then we help you fix it.
We have several tools that help us in our analysis:
- Individual interviews
- Focus groups
- Online surveys
- Written questionnaires
We have especially found web-based questionnaires and surveys to be effective, because they are completely anonymous and can allow for more candor, and they are quick and easy to complete, resulting in higher response rates. The processing time is also significantly shorter, especially if there are written comments. Each survey can be completely customized for the specific client and situation.
Planning and Problem-Solving
We produce a written report of our findings, but we don't just stop there. We summarize the results of the assessment and review them with you.
Because we want to help you solve the problem, we facilitate problem-solving sessions to guide and help you in finding your own solutions. We bring our expertise in managing change to this role, advising you on planning a successful change process and managing any potential resistance to the change.
Each discussion or meeting is concluded with specific decisions about next steps, so that there is a concrete forward action to be taken. Following up on our recommendations and supporting you in implementing the plan is a critical part of our role.
